The
Hermosa Beach Community Garden will be located at South Park 425 Valley
Drive (at the intersection of 4th Street and Valley Drive) in Hermosa
Beach, California.
A Micro-Enrichment Grant awarded from the Beach Cities Health District
has assisted in the Community Garden development and funded our proposed
demonstration site.
Friends of the Parks/Hermosa Beach Community Garden Agreement:
To install a temporary demonstration garden site using raised beds within a portion of the hockey rink
- to raise community awareness
- as a measured approach to developing a permanent plan
- to be removed from the hockey rink at such time as the Garden's
permanent site is ready, or the play equipment installation is ready
(which ever comes first)
Currently the Hermosa Beach Community Garden is a demonstration garden on the east end of the existing roller hockey rink.
